| A senior
student of Grandmaster William
C.C.Chen, abbi marchesani holds both a diploma and teaching certification
from his New York City School. She began her studies with Master Norman
Armstrong, receiving Shodan in 1984. Her teaching focuses around a Yang
style short form derived from the 37 postures made popular by Professor
Cheng Man Ch'ing - renovated by William Chen into what's now internationally
known as 'the 60 movements'. She incorporates elements of Zen,Chi Kung and
Yoga into each class. Marchesani's watercolor workshops include master class discussions, demonstrations, technical exercises and in-depth critiques. Painters of all levels experience ways to spark their own process. "Get Wild With Color" is abbi's most quoted slogan. Workshop agenda or syllabus provided upon request. |
